Heatpump Installer Course
The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as a heat pump installer, the course
duration varies depending on whether you have a POE Portfolio of Evidence) or not: – With a POE (Portfolio of Evidence) : 1 Month. – Without a POE (Portfolio of Evidence): 2 Months – 6 Months.
Areas addressed in the course:
- Plan and prepare for the mounting of domestic air source heat pump systems.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Handle, lift and position heat pump.
- Mount domestic air source heat pump system.
- Erect, use and dismantle access equipment for construction work.
- Prepare and plan for the installation of domestic air source heat pump systems in a safe and compliance environment.
- Install domestic air source heat pump systems.
- Conduct maintenance and make repairs to domestic air source heat pump systems.

- Qualification as a Plumber.
