Basic Carpentry Course
The Basic Carpentry course is a 10-day theoretical & practical course.
Areas addressed in the course:
- Health & Safety.
- Introduction to building industry.
- Reading and interpret basic building drawings: including, how to read dimensions and scales.
- Determine and transfer levels including Spir – Level – Water Level and Dumpy levels.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding including – Trestles and ladders.
- How to use and maintenance Basic Carpentry tools.
- Construct basic Joints.
- Fit and hanging of doors.
- Basic roof installations.
- Ceiling.
- Skirtings.
- Wall Panelling.
- Basic Carpentry.

Requirements: Grade 11.

Accommodation includes: 3 meals daily
